Critical Success Factors in implementation of Process Management and a Framework for Assessment of organization Readiness

Abstract

Process management (PM) is a structured, systematic approach that is adopted by firms in order to analyze, improve and control their processes. This paper has been focused on identifying and testing the effective critical success factors (CSFs) in the preparation and successful implementation of process management. According that in this study by reviewing the literature and studying various reports about implementation of PM in organizations, critical success factors that affecting successful implementation of PM were identified. First from literature 13 factors and 64 sub factors were identified and then these items were valued by PM experts' opinions, and value of importance of factors and items were identified. Finally a framework for assessing organizations about implementation of PM is suggested.
